How do you differentiate your feelings of “I am being called” from “I really want” to do something?

We have many wants. Endless wants. But wants often time are just that – wants.  A calling is a deeper “law”.  It would be a sin to avoid the calling.  It is a knowing. It is what you undoubtedly know in your heart of hearts you are meant to do this specific act. Why?  Because you are really, really good at it.  Not just with skill, but a with a burning passion!  It is the inside of who you are and to deny this part of you – would be denying God.  So, a calling is HOW YOU SERVE others.  It is much different than a want.
