September RYT200 Immersion ONE: Sept. 7th- 16th
The seeds of knowledge we receive in yoga foster and grow into what we believe, how we react and who we become. Plant your seeds today.
Welcome to The Yatra School. The School for Spiritually Living. Our school is not just for those inspiriting to be a yoga teacher or even for those who like to practice the Hatha Yoga Postures (however we are a Registered Yoga Alliance 200 and 300 school/ 500 RYT school), we are a school for EVERYONE. The classes are for all us desiring to know more about our bodies, our minds, our life. They teach us about the sacred texts and how we can embrace a life that is spiritually infused, instead of being swallowed in the heaviness of everyday life and responsibilities! Our school is unique in its approach. Unlike many programs where you must commit yourself to an entire month/year or follow a rigid attendance contract, we allow the student to control their own schedule – their own personal yoga desires! Imagine that! We do not require you to pay thousands of dollars up front or even commit to becoming a teacher. We want you to have the ability to dictate your own pace, your own schedule, your own “yoga” wisdom interests. Not everyone wants to teach or become yoga masters on the mat, but most want more wisdom, more understanding of this ancient way of life. Our yoga school houses both a 200 and 300 Level Yoga Alliance approved certified programs, however if you desire to just simply be in our school and embrace the studies for personal growth, you can do just that.

The Yatra School is a unique journey in which the student designs their own program to meet their personal goals and desires. Within our School one can elect to become a registered yoga alliance certified 200 Level instructor/ 500 Level instructor, or one can simply just take classes that develops a personal inner core foundation. The program is lead by Allison Lindquist, an ERYT500/1000 experienced yoga instructor with over 25 years of experience. Our classes are kept small and intimate, allowing students the ability to feel “at home” while developing wisdom and cultivating their own yoga way of life. Every student maintains control of their own personal goals, pace, commitments and discoveries! The program is non-denominational in the hatha yoga style. If choosing to teach we do anchor our focus upon a Yatra Outline (only in 200RYT), however this outline is fluid (allowing students to adapt a sequence that matches their personality and environmental setting).
Yatra- A pilgrimage one takes to find their one essence of life. The journey is more important than the destination.
Yatra Yoga- The unification of physical, mental and spiritual components into one complete and powerful form. Within the core framework of a Yatra class, the student will find not only those aspects that make Yatra unique from any other style, but also a powerful incorporation of a traditional yoga practice. In this way, Yatra Yoga is ancient and simultaneously new in its approach. A single Yatra class will contain aspects of Kundalini, as chakras and energy systems within the body are awakened and utilized within poses. There is a hint of Ashtanga Yoga with Yatra’s heavy concentration upon breath work and its transformative power to cultivate peace of mind. Raja Yoga techniques housed with asanas guide students towards spiritual self-realization and control of the mind. Focus on correct alignment and execution of Asanas subtly reflects aspects of Iyengar Yoga principles. Hot Yatra balances these diverse elements with a unique infusion of spirituality based philosophy and a teaching format that makes Yatra, purely Your own Yatra. At the very core of the style, is a natural, proactive and approachable spirituality that taps into the tenants of the Eight Limbs of Yoga. The power of this holistic approach to yoga as it was intended to be practiced, transforms the practitioner as a whole person beyond the mat and into their life. At the heart of this practice, the student will not just survive a yoga class- they learn to rise to their life and shine. Students will learn how to teach both a Hot Yatra Yoga class and a non-heated Yatra class, vigorous and gentle sequences, as well as static postures and vinyasa postures.
The 200 Level curriculum is composed of 10 blocks (200 hours) and the 300 Level program consists of 15 blocks (300 hours). Each block is 20 hours (Saturday & Sunday 8am-7pm) and is offered once a month. If you desire to become eligible for Yoga Alliance 200 hour certification, you must meet the Yoga Alliance standards by completing all 10 blocks (or in our 10 day immersions) offered in the 200 hour curriculum. Our advanced 300 program allows you to become a 500 hour Certified Yoga instructor. If you desire to become eligible for Yoga Alliance 300 hour certification (equaling 500 hours), you must meet the Yoga Alliance standards by completing all 10 blocks offered in the 200 hour curriculum, as well as all 15 blocks offered in the 300 hour curriculum.
Every month we offer 2 weekend blocks staying in order with the curriculum (one from the 200 track and one from the 300 track). However, you determine the pace of your program by attending every month in order or stretching the timeframe to meet your needs; or even just attending the months that are of interest to you. We believe going to school should foster the passion of learning, not meeting difficult expectations; and we also want you to be able to navigate your yoga to meet your needs – not a universal standard.
However, our school is for EVERYONE. If you are not interested in the teacher track and you are desiring just the wisdom – you can AUDIT a weekend any time!
You choose from three payment tracks:
1. Pay for each block individually. $375 per block
2. Secure up-front payment for the entire 200 or 300RYT program as a committed teacher track student (receiving a significant discount). RYT 200; $2750.00 RYT 300; $3750.00
3. Lastly, pay for a weekend just for wisdom. This is an Audit course rate and cannot be converted to the RYT certification track. Therefore, it is a cost reduced version – so you have access to the knowledge. ($250 per weekend).
In addition to the weekend blocks, we offer two 10 day immersion weeks in the year.
Immersion WEEK ONE (10 days) 100 hours towards RYT200 : Offered Every September
Immersion WEEK TWO (10 days) Second set of 100 hours towards RYT200: Offered Every October
Cost for an immersion week is $1650.00.
You can schedule a private RYT experience. It is just you and Alli. Relaxed and personal. The required 200 or 300 hours can be scheduled as week stretches and around your schedule. Many students love this route and find the personal journey with a teacher is truly life changing.
Cost for a private RYT 200 $3550/ RYT300 $5200

Don’t overthink this. Like Martin Luther King Jr. would say…”you don’t have to climb the whole staircase today, just take one step at a time.”
